Chris Chancey,
LMT Chris has been practicing massage therapy since 2003. After completing massage therapy school. Chris worked in a chiropractic and physical therapy office, where he fell in love with rehabilitative massage. Chris is an avid runner, who competes in local races. He trains with Gilbert's Gazelles when he has the time. He has been a competitive runner since high school. After high school, Chris joined the Navy. When he got out, he considered attending Culinary Arts school, but chose Massage Therapy because he was interested in sports massage to improve on his running. He liked the results he has seen on himself and others. He found working on others especially rewarding and has continued his training to specialize in advanced methods of therapeutic massage.
After all these years of giving massage, Chris said he wonders if he hadn't gone to massage school, how much pain he would be in from his athletic endeavors. He believes he has made the right choice. |
![]() Brian A. Martens, LMT, CSCS Brian was born in Syracuse, NY, a city so unappealing that Charles Dickens, on tour through the area, once referred to it as "The unsightliest feather in the eagle's plume." In his late teens and early twenties was involved in kickboxing and submission grappling. Although enjoying his work as a nightly news video editor, and later a television documentary editor in NYC, he began to become dissatisfied, longing for a job where he could directly impact people's lives for the better. After seeing excellent results from soft tissue therapy on a chronic and debilitating neck injury, he was inspired to change careers. Brian graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage 1000-hour program in Syracuse, New York before recently relocating to the Austin area. It is his professional goal to help every client regain pain-free, fully functional movement, and to this end he makes every effort to continuously improve his knowledge and level of skill. ...CLICK HERE to make an appointment with Brian! |
