Site Content, a Challenge
Therapy Central's Web site posed some new challenges for me as a site designer. Often, Ken posed new thoughts for the site that, at first, puzzled even me as a designer as far as the 'how to' was concerned. I would, at times, sit in amazement of the technology available through-out the world wide web. How were we going to keep up?
With this site, it was obvious we were going to have to be on the cutting edge of performance. Technology, the cool bells and whistles found on most sites, was going to have to take a back seat to the sites ability to display an extremely large, growing and daily changing amount of diverse content.
Ease-of-use, for the client and the content editor, was another major concern. In this case the content editor was generally one of the Therapist at Therapy Central. How does a very knowledgeable Therapist add content to a site without becoming a web site designer or expert?
After some deliberation, we found the answer. A learning experience for myself as well as the Therapists at Therapy Central. In fact, I must give praise and thanks to them as they have been overly patient with me as we have developed this site together over the past few years.
Having said all of that, we will continue to thrive to make this site a pleasure to use... as well as an extremely informative one. If there is anything I can do for you, feel free to contact me.
